History of the Recreation Board
The Recreation Board was created when Spring Township was bequeathed the property at 2471 Shermans Valley Road, Elliottsburg, Pa..
This property is where Lynn Sheaffer Dum Memorial Park is located.
The Recreation Board is a five-member board appointed by the Board of Supervisors to oversee and make recommendations on the planning, development and operation of the Park. The Rec Board meets the second Thursday of each month(except for December).
